Individual Training Programmes -
Psychologically Informed Coaching

Initial phone call to discuss:

  • Current fitness, running history, aspirations and goals

  • Establish a race plan and target races

  • Work, family and other lifestyle considerations.

  • A fortnightly monitoring form informed by psychological theory and research and designed to help you maximise and get the most out of your running. Psychologically informed feedback given where appropriate.

Monitoring:

Training Plan:

  • ​Bespoke weekly or fortnightly training plan set via Training Peaks and in collaboration with you to ensure it works and fits into your life. 

  • ​​​Basic Training Peaks Athlete account to enable easy and convenient mutual feedback on runs and training sessions.

  • ​​​​​​Weekly feedback on training via WhatsApp and Training Peaks.

  • ​​​​One phone or Zoom calls per month specifically targeted at mental skills and preparation to help you optimise your performance.

Workshops

Are you a club or group of runners looking to know some more about how psychology could help you with your running? Or perhaps you are looking for advice on a specific topic such as how to handle those pre-race nerves?

 

​If so you might benefit from one of our workshops or webinars. We can work with you to identify your needs and areas of interest and deliver a workshop based on what will be most useful for you.

One to One Coaching

Are you looking for some individual one-to-one support for how you can overcome your gremlins which may be holding you back in your running. Perhaps you suffer from pre-race nerves or want to learn some strategies to resist slowing down or stopping when training or racing? If so book a session with Laura and Becky ​​​​​​

Alternatively you may be be looking to work specifically on your running technique or wondering how you can best incorporate some speed work into your training. If so please book an in person session with UKA Coach Becky. ​
